There are a range of leadership positions available to students in Creagh College. These include:
Class Captains
Student Council
TY Library Prefects
Meitheal Leaders
Senior Prefects.
Class Captains are student representatives of their base (tutor) class and are elected to their role. There is a class captain elected by their peers to each class at the start of each year. Class Captains are important members of our school community, acting as a link between the students in their class and staff members.
Student Council members are elected representatives from their year groups and work together throughout the year on behalf of the student body. The Student Council serve the student body by voicing issues and by bringing student perspective to all aspects of school life. They act as a link between students, staff and management. The Student Council have positively influenced our school community, enabling students to take ownership of the school and its future. In the past the Student Council have raised money for sports equipment, contributed to policy development and organised events such as non-uniform days.
