Dear Class of 2026,
I hope you are all enjoying the summer holidays!
As Leaving Certificate Results Day approaches, I want to wish each of you the very best for this Friday and give you some important information about receiving your results and the days that follow.
Results Day – Friday, 21st August
Your Leaving Certificate results will be available through the Candidate Self Service Portal (CSSP) from 10.00am on Friday morning. You will be able to view your results and print your Statement of Provisional Results through the portal.
We would also really like to see you back in Creagh College to mark the occasion together.
You are warmly invited to come into school at 11.00am on Friday, 21st August, to receive your results in person.
A number of your teachers will be here to congratulate you, see how you got on and provide any advice or support you may need.
Important Dates – Please Take Note
There are some very important deadlines following Results Day:
- Tuesday, 25th August at 12 noon: Your detailed component marks and adjusted marks will become available on the Candidate Self Service Portal.
- Viewing your scripts: Applications open at 5.00pm on Tuesday, 25th August and close at 8.00pm on Wednesday, 26th August.
- Script viewing: Most scripts can be viewed online from 9.00am Saturday, 29 August until 9.00am Sunday, 30th August. Some manually marked scripts will need to be viewed in school on Saturday, 29th August.
- Appeals: Applications open at 10.00am on Sunday, 30th August and close at 5.00pm on Monday, 31st August. The appeal fee is €40 per Leaving Certificate subject or €15.50 per Leaving Certificate Applied subject and is refunded if your appeal is successful.
Please pay particular attention to these deadlines. The SEC has made clear that the timelines are very short and that late applications for viewing scripts or appeals will not be accepted.
Advice and Support
Whatever your results on Friday, please remember that there are lots of pathways and options available to you. If you need advice or simply want to talk through your results and your next steps, please speak to us.
The National Parents and Students Leaving Certificate Helpline is also available. You can speak or text directly with an experienced Guidance Counsellor:
Phone: 1800 265 165
Text: 086 180 0685
It operates from 10.00am–6.00pm this Friday, with further opening hours during the following week.
You should also receive the SEC's 'Candidate Information Guide 2 – Results and Appeals', which contains further information on your results and the viewing and appeals processes. Please take the time to read it carefully.
Finally, on behalf of everyone in Creagh College, I want to congratulate you on reaching this milestone. Your Leaving Certificate results are important, but they are only one part of your journey. We are very proud of everything you have achieved during your time with us and we wish each of you every success and happiness in whatever comes next.
We hope to see as many of you as possible back in school at 11.00am on Friday to celebrate together.
Enjoy the Debs, enjoy Results Day, and most importantly, look after yourselves and each other.
Best wishes,
Declan O'Toole
